@Internal Affairs Team Notice Please start getting people into the IA office if they are reporting member's or staff member's for stuff like saying the N word etc. We have had many framed SS's and we have had staff member's getting framed and banned. You are still to set the staff member UI if they are getting reported but don't just instantly ban. @ the person getting accused in main chat or in the ticket and have the member go into their DM's through your @. While's they are Screen sharing. This way you can verify if it's true or if it's a false SS. Don't trust clips as well do this same process. We have decided that from now on you must wait at least 10 minutes before claiming a second and third ticket. The only exception to this rule is for RTO access tickets. With this being said, the only people allowed to promote staff that is not from a R/A or Training is @𝐀𝐒𝐑𝐏 | Staff Manager. @Internal Affairs Team Hello all, I have seen a concerning number of strikes that have been getting revoked by the person who issued the strike simply because they failed to investigate the strike. Please investigate and get the staff member's story before you issue the strike. Strikes getting constantly self-revoked makes all strikes seem like they're shallow and easily disputed. Of course, your allowed to revoke your own strikes, but you should be taking measures to make sure you don't have to. In other words, investigate strikes before you hand them out. Theres always 2 sides to a story, get both sides before striking. However, the ticket situation has been excellent. Good job on doing tickets, and keep up the good work. Remember, you have to wait 10 minutes before claiming a 2nd/3rd ticket. The more important matter of this shout is to let ya'll know that ya'll need to start shaping up and being professional. First problem I have been noticing is in rank management some of ya'll are adding emojis and stuff like shown in the example photo and that makes us look unprofessional and its not needed so STOP. Secondly when striking someone always investigate both sides but stop revoking strikes over pity or not striking someone over pity. If you see someone get reported for timing out a member, server muting a member, or warning a member (ect), and the moderation was a reasonable course of action to take in their situation, they should not be getting striked for it. They can be striked for stuff like arguing, but the moderation is not to be used as evidence. In other words, if a moderator took a reasonable action against a member, they shouldn't be striked solely for that action. Any strikes that get issued with the only evidence being a moderation, unless obviously unreasonable, will be revoked. Staff members shouldn't be scared to moderate. Additionally, management or above should be the only people who decide on out-of-server TOS violation reports. If you see one of these, please send it to the management category. The bot will delete the message because it’s a link, anyone JIA+ can post the clips in tickets 2. When you are doing strikes and demotions, from this point on, do not put “JIA+” just put the reason, if a ticket is made 2 days after the strike is given and if we can’t find why they were striked then it will just be revoked. 3. If someone requests a certain person or someone at or above a certain rank, start asking them for what reason because for instance if I am requested in a ticket and I don’t know what it is concerning, then I don’t know if I am definitely needed. 4. Start being a little more strict on Chain Of Command but not a strike every single time it happens. If someone continues to break COC after they are warned, then a strike can be given out. 5. We don’t have a hole lot of tickets open right now but we need to keep it this way 6. if it’s a management ticket, ping the mgmt role if it has gone unhandled, if someone requests ownership, just ping the ownership role so me and stringer will both be pinged 7. @Internal Affairs Team Be more lenient when staff break simple rules. People are getting severely punished for stupid things and you guys have to start being more lenient toward lower ranks that break rules that aren’t that serious.
